Mrs Isoken Omo, while delivering a presentation on the Edo State New Town project, explained that the objective of the project is to decongest the city centre and pave way for development at the outskirts of Benin City.
Operation Plan Edo
“Going forward, Operation Plan Edo is going to be done State-wide.
The indiscriminate construction of fuel and gas stations in residential areas has become a norm in most parts of Benin metropolis.
“The first memo was an approval for a detailed master plan for a new town layout in ward 9 in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of the State."
Every application that has been done during this time has been fast-tracked and by the end of this week or early next week, we would be giving out over 400 approvals to those who have already gone through the process.
