Expressing appreciation to Governor Obaseki for the training initiatives, Mrs. Justina Tare, a participant at the event, said: “It has been a very interesting experience, especially considering the facilitators brought in to train us.
"It is the first month of the year. Many Governors in Nigeria are just settling down, but Mr. Governor is already employing people into the public service first month of the year. Today Edo State workers are the best paid in the federation.
It is on this basis that we decided to put this workshop together with the management of JOOPSA.
A total of 219 officers were employed into the civil and public service from the just concluded recruitment exercise.
In the course of the training, participants were taught to treat patients with respect, as their self-esteem could improve when they are treated with respect.
High point of the event was the presentation of a crafted bronze Queen Idia head gift to Miss Tracy Eboigbodin.
