Obaseki mourns death of former Egor council chair, Enobakhare
The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has mourned the passing of former chairman of Egor Local Government Area, Hon. Victor Enobakhare, whose death was announced on Monday night.
Obaseki, in a statement, expressed shock over the sad incident, describing the deceased as a selfless, patriotic, and proactive grassroots politician who will be greatly missed.
According to the governor, “I commiserate with the family of late Victor Enobakhare, a fine gentleman, grassroots politician and committed democrat.
“Enobakhare, a former chairman of Egor local council, had a deep understanding of local government administration and the political landscape, contributing his quota to the state’s development. He will be greatly missed.”
Obaseki prayed that God consoles his family, friends and associates, as well as the people of Egor council area and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
