Alaghodaro: Okoye, Ilevbaoje, other panelists to discuss youth political participation, Obaseki’s ‘MEGA Agenda’ at Youth Summit
The Anambra State Commissioner for Economic Planning, Budget and Development Partners, Mark Okoye and Head of Tracka NG, Uadamen Ilevbaoje will be among panelists to discuss the role of Edo youths in actualising Governor Godwin Obaseki’s ‘Making Edo Great Again’ Agenda during the Edo Youth Summit, holding on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.
The Edo Youth Summit, with the theme, “Our Youth and the MEGA Agenda’ is part of events lined up for this year’s Alaghodaro Investment Summit.
The Alaghodaro Summit, in its fourth edition, will be held alongside the inauguration of Governor Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Rt. Hon. Comr. Philip Shaibu for a second term in office. The inauguration is scheduled for November 12, 2020.
Other panelists for the youth summit are the Chief Operating Officer at Starzs Investments Company Ltd, Iroghama Ogbeifun; Co-Founder, Elect-Her, Mrs. Abosede George-Ogan; Founder, Genius hub Global Initiative, Mrs. Isimeme Whyte and the Minority Leader, Nigerian Youth Parliament, Hon. Daniel Uwadia.
All events lined up for the governor’s inauguration and the 2020 Alaghodaro will be held with provision for virtual participation in line with government’s guidelines to check the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the organisers said.
The Youth Summit, scheduled to take place between 9am and 1pm on November 11, will be held at the New Festival Hall in Government House, Benin City with 300-seating capacity, while over 2000 other participants are expected to join through virtual means, as the event will be broadcast live.
