Oshiomhole Mourns Endurance Idahor

Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has mourned the death of Edo-State-born El-Mereikh of Sudan footballer, Endurance Idahor, while on active duty for his club.

In a statement yesterday, the Governor said “the death of Endurance Idahor is a sad loss not only to his family, but to the people of Edo State where he hailed from”.

“Endurance was a promising Edo man who took positive steps to improve his living standard by joining the Sudanese club after having played for Julius Berger of Lagos and Dolphins of Port-Harcourt”.

Idohor was a great ambassador of the country as he portrayed the image of the country well in Sudan, paving the way for many more promising Nigerians to be courted by Sudanese clubs. Even his club described him as ‘an example of a professional, a committed individual and a symbol of loyalty’.

“While we mourn his sudden death, we pray to God to grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss”

Chief Press Secretary.
