Olayemi Wonuola Keri

Olayemi Keri is the Executive Director of the Directorate of Information Communications & Technology (ICT) for Edo State Government. A graduate of Accountancy from University of Maiduguri, and Masters in Management in Information Systems specialising in Project Management from American InterContinental University. Olayemi is a member of several professional bodies including ICAN, CIBN, CITN and the Nigerian Computer Society(NCS)

She joined Edo State Government in 2009 from SAP (Systems Applications Products), the world’s leading business solutions provider, where she spent 4 years as Customer, Solutions and Operations (CSO) for Nigeria and the Regional Manager for West Africa. During this period, she worked with SAP partners such as Deloitte, Accenture, PWC and others in the SAP ecosystem to deliver value to customers and co-innovate and deliver the best SAP-driven solutions for businesses. Olayemi professional and work experience spans several diverse sector of the economy were she held management positions. These include Information Technology, Banking, Advertising and Construction Industries.

Her responsibility includes providing leadership to all ICT employees in the State, broadening the recognition of the values and acceptance of information technology into the public service, as she brings a wealth of experience from the private sector into the public sector. Currently, as Executive Director, ICT, Olayemi is also responsible for the management and supervision of the centralized ICT structure of the State Government which spans from the business strategy, implementation of networks, communications, infrastructure, software and the information systems that relates to all the Ministries, Departments and Agencies as well as the 18 LGAs. In addition to these, Olayemi is a member of the Government policy think-tank Economic and Strategy Team and member of the State Budget Committee.
