Edo State House of Assembly has adopted a resolution extending the tenure of the sole administrator of Orhionmwon Local Government Council in the state.
The extension of the tenure of the sole administrator by 1 month followed the expiration of the 2 months earlier pronounced by parliament following the suspension of the chairman and members of the legislative arms of the council for allegedly embarking on an unauthorized foreign trip.
The Edo State House of Assembly have moved a motion yesterday, calling on all Local Government Councils in the Edo State to construct, furnish and maintain Area and District Court in their Council for quick administration of justice.

THE Edo Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Christopher Okaeben, yesterday said the government had introduced monthly road walk for members of its state executive council and top civil servants.

Over 300 artisan fishermen in Edo State who registered and were captured in the Growth Enhancement Support (GES) Scheme of the Agricultural Transformation Agenda of the federal government benefited from the distribution of subsidised fishing inputs.
