Oshiomhole commissions 1000-capacity lecture theatres at AAU


Comrade Adams Eric Oshiomhole of Edo State has commissioned two 500-seating capacity lecture theatres and a block of lecturers’ offices at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

Also the Governor has threatened to revoke the contract for the completion of the Administrative block of the University if the contractor fails to complete the project on schedule.

Edo House passes 2015 Appropriation Bill


The Edo State House of Assembly has passed the year 2015 Appropriation bill of N159, 348,802,916, indicating an increase of N3 billion over the earlier proposed N156 bn presented by Governor Adams Oshiomhole on September 23 to parliament for consideration and passage.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has terminated the appointment of Mr Hillary Ekhoye as Executive Director, Public Procurement Agency.

In a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, dated Wednesday, September 24, 2014, he said the termination, which takes immediate effect, is due to poor performance.

Mr Ekhoye was directed to hand over any Government property in his possession to the Secretary, Edo State Public Procurement Agency.

Oshiomhole targets new investors, swears-in Commissioner
