Oshiomhole blames mismanagement on PDP


Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has attributed the lack of basic infrastructure in the state on the mismanagement of the state resources by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led government.

As a proactive measure to redeeming this sordid state, he pledged the administration’s commitment to the provision of infrastructure across the state in line with his electioneering promises.

Speaking at Osomhegbe, Udochi and Egbekpe – Ekperi, Etsako Central Local Government Area during a campaign rally, he urged people of the locality to reciprocate this government initiative by voting for the Acting Congress (AC) candidate in Saturday re-run election for the constituency seat in the Edo State House of Assembly.

He assured the people that nobody will intimidate them in their attempt to elect a choice candidate as the “one man, one vote” is sacrosanct.

According to him, the government would do all it could to alleviate their sufferings, occasioned by the dearth of infrastructure in the locality due to bad PDP-led government.

He described the PDP-led government as an unresponsive one that is noted for unfulfilled promises unlike the AC, backs its promises with action.

The governor also criticized the which PDP Senator representing Edo North in the National Assembly for donating one motorcycle to the Osomhegbe community (Head) when there is dearth of basic infrastructure that needed attention.

He therefore directed the community Head to return it while he will provide 20 in its place in addition to fulfilling his electioneering promises.

The people in the locality in their separate remarks applauded the development strides of the government.They disclosed that since the existence of the community, no governor had ever visited them, except for Governor Oshiomhole. In the campaign team were members of the state Executive council, including the state Deputy Governor, Dr. Pius Egberanmwen Odubu The campaign continues.
