Ministry of Environment and Public Utilities (MEPU) is a regulatory body saddled with the responsibility of managing the environment on behalf of the State. In managing the environment, the Ministry tackles all environmental problems ranging from Waste Management, Flood and Erosion Control, forest depletion and degradation and general environmental and atmospheric pollution.

Our Vision

We would through team work with other stakeholders provide efficient service delivery & sustainable management of our resources for clean, safe, beautiful and green environment that will ameliorate the effect of climate change.
