This ministry was constituted to oversee and to grant approval for the execution of projects for local government councils and monitoring of these projects which have direct impact on the lives of the people. The ministry has the power to resolve crisis between traditional rulers and also to settle communal crisis in the state.

It's mission is to transcribe/transfer and replicate adequately the quality of service delivery in the state and environs to the local government councils, through knowledgeable and well versed experience manpower.
