Specific Objection of the Welfare Programme: |

To discourage matrimonial disharmonies among couples and reconcile broken homes in the interest of juveniles who suffer neglect by warring parent. |

To reform and rehabilitate delinquent s and mal-adjusted youths through vocational training and counselling the programmes for delinquent juveniles |
 |
To assist and rehabilitate ex-service men and ex-inmates of Boys and Girls Approved School, ex-trainees through social institutions and Community Based programmes in the state. |
 |
To promote social services for the care of Elderly persons in the state through the establishment of multipurpose Day Care Centre. |
 |
To encourage voluntary charitable social services. |

Specific Objection of Community Development Programme: |

To act as catalyst for change among the people and ensure adequate feed back to the state Government policies and actions. |

To mobilize and supervise the execution of self-help project for quality development. |

To create enabling environment for the protection of lives and property through the activities of vigilante groups and securities in the State. |

To complement self-help projects of the communities through State Government grant. |

Specific Objective of Child Welfare Programme: |

To promote the survival, protection and development of the child with the collaborative effort of Government, Non-Governmental Organisation (NGOs) and international bodies that are interested in the welfare, well being and development of the child. |

To monitor and promote the protection of the right of the child. |
 |
To enhance the participation of children in decision-making through participation in the children parliament |
 |
To increase the level of awareness against child abuse/labour, child trafficking and exploitation in the society. |
