THE JUDICIARY

It is the third arm of Government in Edo State. Its main function is the administration of justice and the interpretation of laws of the land. The judiciary consists of two departments: The High Court of Justice and the Customary Court of Appeal. There are 13 judicial divisions manned by 24 High Court judges. There are 27 magisterial districts with 44 magistrates
