“subventions to the various state owned institutions have been increased by
government for them to meet their financial demands which was in dilemma in
the past. We have also commenced the renovation of schools across the three
senatorial districts while private schools would be reassessed with a view to
ensuring standard”. On the erosion problems in
different parts of the state, Chief Imasuen said
that “the state government has set aside the sum of N330 million to address
the erosion problem at Queen Ede Primary school, Ogbeson
in Benin City while we will also partner with the World Bank on the
matter". While noting that several
roads in the state had received government attention more than any government
in the recent past, Chief Imasuen said that the
