OSHIOMHOLE RESHUFFLES CABINET

 

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has dropped two of his commissioners in a cabinet reshuffle announced yesterday.

In a statement by the Secretary to the State Governor, Hon Pally Iriase, two other Commissioners were also redeployed while two others have been given additional responsibilities to oversee other ministries.

According to the statement, those dropped are Mr Alex Okoh, formerly in charge of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources and Engineer Erhauyi Obayagbona, formerly in charge of the Ministry of Works.

Those redeployed include Mr Clem Agba from the Ministry of Environment and Public Utilities to the Ministry of Lands, Survey and Housing and Mr Didi Adodo from the Ministry of Lands, Survey and Housing to the Ministry of Energy and Water Reources.

Barrister Anselm Ojezua, the Commissioner for Information will also oversee the Ministry of Works while Engineer Jackson Eribo, Commissioner for Special Duties will oversee the Ministry of Environment and Public Utilities.

The statement continued: “while this reshuffle takes immediate effect, it is expected that all handing over exercises should be completed within one week.”

The Governor assured the public that the exercise is in furtherance of Government’s commitment to efficient and quality service to the people of Edo State.
